After you have read the
Background of F.a.W.K. and feel like this is something you are interested in, carefully read and follow all of the following information.
The guild is composed mostly of college students who have a lot of experience with writing and roleplaying, however, we welcome new members with open arms. There are some things you should be aware of first (and which will be further covered in the
Rules)-
+The Roleplay, if it was a movie, is likely to be closer to R than to G, with possible swearing, sex, and violence.
+The Roleplay takes place on an already made medieval fantasy world called
Ryekarayn.
+All characters must be from Ryekarayn and its surrounding islands. (Why will be covered in the
Rules)
+The applications are necessary. This is how we get an idea of who you are and how you write. We're not arrogant dictators, we just don't want everyone who can semi-type on a keyboard able to join.
+YES THE MAP IS OLD... some of the names of things are from like... 2001- so don't complain to me about silly places like Dark Skull Island or Chaos Island. You can only be so creative when you are 11.
Now that the basics are out of the way, let's move on.
1) You'll need to read the
Rules and make sure that they are something you agree with.
2) Second, you'll need to fill out the
Roleplay Application and submit it
HERE, and title it
NAME'S Application.
3) After you have submitted your application, the admins will review the application and possibly want to talk to you about it. Either way, you'll ultimately end up with a yes or a no. If it's a flat no, I'm sorry. If it's a yes, welcome!
4) Now that you have been accepted into RPG F.a.W.K., make sure to acquaint yourself with
Ryekarayn and the ridiculously old
Map.
5) Feeling acquainted? Good. Now comes the fun part- making your character. You'll need to fill out this
Character Application and submit it
HERE. Title it
CHARACTER'S NAME Application.
6) Now you're on a roll! At this point, the admins will review your character application, chat about it, and then give you a green light or have a chat with you. Once your character is ready, you are almost ready to roleplay.
7) You probably have some questions about how to roleplay- whether you have done it before or whether it's your first time- sites are always different. Questions/Answers can be found
HERE. If you have any questions that you don't see, go ahead and ask. I HIGHLY recommend you read through the questions and answers- it's not much, but it might help you SIGNIFICANTLY.
8 ) Regardless of when you join, you need to read
The Plot. If you are joining after a roleplay part has already begun, you'll need to check with an admin or
in the Plot. Read all under
The Plot first and ask an admin if you are still feeling lost.
9) If you have read the
Rules, submitted your
Roleplay Application, submitted your
Character Application, had your
Questions answered, and read and understood the
Plot, then you are ready to
Roleplay!
